BATTLING WITH MY IDENTITY.
It's not a rap battle it's a Plainfield.
Everyone's fact has the right to fly.
It mustn't be high but it must be heard.
The general public has shut us up, made our voices unheard because we don't fit to be seen or to be heard.
To them perfection is not a lie but the process is filled with so much bull.
The stereotyping has gotten to the limit.
Well that's what I thought until I heard
'A woman's place is in the kitchen'.
I get it some people act someway and dress someway.
It's fine but still, it doesn't give you the right to stereotype us because of the way we dress or the way we act.
Well somebody did coin the saying
'The way you dress is the way you are going to be addressed'.
But let's be honest the way I dress doesn't reflect my heart I can be a witch inside a sheep clothing but our narrow mind will call me perfect because of the way I dress.
Then you hear everyone saying
'They really did say don't judge the book by its cover.'
I'm not perfect neither am I decent - enough - I make mistakes and that is human but I can't let you stereotype me because I wasn't showing enough skin or I'm showing too much skin or because my hair is fake or my hair is too natural for you.
The society needs to change we need to stop stereotyping children, stereotyping others.
Yes he got tattoos that doesn't mean he is in a cult or he's a thug.
The people before us came and placed rules that were in so many forms wrong and now we still follow them.
I'm not perfect but my imperfection makes me decent enough to be put in that box but I'm not stereotyping can't do what narrow minded individuals do.
So NO I'm not perfect I'm just a girl who is taking every day as they come because I can't predict the future and I don't believe in You Only Live Once.
I live everyday with different adventures under my belt.
You should do so, work hard, believe in yourself, act right and don't let the world predict who you are because you are the only one who knows who you really are you are the one who knows your heart and you're the one who's going to define yourself to the world.
"Let your flaws speak truth but don't hide your true self because the world can't handle it"
